We took picture from manufacture which shows extra pieces of sandpaper which are not included with the item. Picture below shows extra pieces which are not present with this kit. Under normal facing, the original sandpaper piece should last through about 25 tips. When it is worn out, you purchase at hardware store similar grit paper and cut to fit replacement pieces. Item comes with one piece of 50 grit sandpaper. Simply put the shaft in the clamp and turn the handle! The sand paper wheel will face off and clean the end of the ferrule for easy tip installation.
We suggest wrapping the shaft with several layers of paper in area where clamp goes before tightening down the clamp for added protection. Clamp holds the tool straight to allow a perpendicular face off of the ferrule before glueing on the new tip. The Rapid Cue top Sander is the perfect tool to use when putting on a new tip.
